::Very dishonest company, will not ever use them again. Our car was not working, we called to get another car, they 'confirmed' they had available cars to replace it, so we went back, but they made us wait a long time to get it 'fixed', instead of replacing it with another one, and the car still didn't work properly. Do not recommend. Never again! Stick to known companies, all local companies will steal your money and precious vacation time. Update: a manager of this rental company called me from Dominican Republic to make it right by me. Apparently they do really care about their customers and read the reviews we post online, which is refreshingly unexpected. They've refunded 1 day worth of my total rental fees to alleviate a bit the bad experience, and also reprimanded the employee who mistreated us. He promised to keep a closer look at the whole rental experience and customer training, which I totally appreciate, and has restored my trust in humanity and this company for sure.

::We called them to replace the rental due to mechanical issues, they said to simply stop by to exchange it, but when we got there they said they actually didn't have any available, although there were 2, and took it to the mechanic and made us wait for about an hour, supposedly repaired it and gave us the same crappy vehicle. Terrible service! Don't recommend.

::Made us sit there and wait 20 minutes to tell us they just didnt have a car even though we had made a reservation a week in avance. The woman at the desk was very unprofessional and clearly did not care that she was inconveniencing us. Hertz is much more reliable and professional and worth the extra dollars.

::Nice car, but they offered us coffee when we got there to drop off the car and we never got our coffee. Other than that, reliable vehicles.

::This company operates like a SCAM and routinely LIES! Reserved a car online to be picked up in Punta Cana. The online reservation included a written confirmed total cost. Arrived at the Ace Rental Car / Nelly Rent-a-Car counter to pick up the vehicle and the horrible customer service experience began right away. The employee on staff was named Stalin Acosta. Mr. Acosta said the price on the written rental confirmation was wrong, because "the internet had made a mistake". He continued to lie, and then when caught in his lie, he finally admitted that his boss had told him to lie, and he was just doing what he was told. It felt like a rehearsed scam. The lies were unbelievable. Finally, Mr. Acosta said he would honor the written price contract, but then proceeded to say the pre-purchased insurance was not enough, and another ridiculously expensive insurance policy needed to be purchased from him in addition to the one already purchased. The scam continued and the lies began again. Once again, when caught in the lie, he said he was just saying what his boss told him to say. This company operates like a SCAM and routinely LIES. They must get away with it most of the time. It was the most outrageously disappointing customer service experience ever. To top it all off, after being promised "new up to date cars", the car that was provided was old, had over 50,000 miles on it, and was dirty. The agent delivering the car said it had "rained recently" and that is why the car was dirty. Avoid this company at all costs. They are dishonest. The employees are trained to operate a SCAM.
