  We had an amazing time at Casa Marina! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food and drink were 4 star worthy at least, and the entire resort was just beautiful. We got upgraded to a renovated room with a view and it was breathtaking! I recommend staying on the reef side, the bars and pools are better on this side, and still a very close walk to the other side.

  Nice clean resort, access and amenities for wheelchair, very good service from staff. Food in the evening lacks a little.

  Food is tasteless thank God for salt and pepper... Alcohol is absolutely watered down Room 2440 is worst than Cuba (although great location) After 10pm you will come close to starvation, and after 1am you will absolutely starve No real entertainment if that's something you like The on-site disco is only open from 11pm-1am $15/week USD for a key to the room safe (WTF) A/C is weak What more can I say??? Oh yes there is another side though... View is priceless Alicia beach is practically on site with it's crystal clear water, a must see and do Very close to the strip and all its bars and walking hour glass figures Few minute walk to sosua beach with it's absolute marvelous and calm water Close to all shops from groceries to souvenirs and all else And the view... Yup it's amazing! So in conclusion, if you can get past all the nonsense in the beginning you should and will enjoy!

  Excellent Hotel. Very clean. Staff are professional and not obviously hungry for tips. The Entertainment is second to none. The entire entertainment crew make a great team and are multi-taskers. A trait that western countries could learn from. Medina the show host is excellent, entertaining and extremely hilarious. I was not very impressed by the number of uniformed guys wandering about and trying to grab you in and around the common areas and the exist with the intent to sell you water sports and some time share stuff. This happened once too often and pressure tactics were involved too. one of them even interrupted a private moment i was having with my wife and I had to reprimand him. The management needs to find a better way around this problem. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The bartender at the Disco is just amazing.
