  A nice spot. As advertised, very basic, so as long as you want the rustic experience, you will like it. They have wifi, and you can request a room w AC but there are no TVs. The private beach is ok for sunbathing but a bit rocky in the water. On site bar/restaurant is actually pretty good and very cheap. Still, you will probably want to venture into Sosua or Cabarete for better beaches and more variety in food and drink. Uber is super cheap. If you rent a car, be prepared to pay an extra $25 or so per day for their insurance, they don't accept any other coverage. Better to Uber. Also, they have pet turtles on location.

  This place is a piece of heaven in Cabarete. Peaceful, warm, amazing. Close to where the parties can be found at if that is what you're looking for, and still coming back to some peace and quiet. Eco hotel that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. You can come here and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Plenty of activities as well. Surfing, horseback riding. The owner and manager are great hosts, tending to your every need. This is definitely one of my favorite places in DR.

  Relaxing and quiet. Off the main road. My room was 100' from the beach. Mike wanted to do anything he could to accommodate us.

  The experience is incredible. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Live in a tree house, walk the plank and jump into the pool from your living room! The price is very reasonable, the food is amazing, the service exceeded my expectations, and the staff are now our great friends. I give this resort my highest recommendation; if there were more stars I would give them all. Great for families and everyone. I will be back. Thank you for a great experience!
